PPEC — Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care — fills a critical gap for children who are too medically complex for standard daycare but do not require round-the-clock hospital care. At Elite PPEC, children receive continuous skilled nursing supervision, physician-directed therapies, and age-appropriate developmental stimulation in a warm, nurturing environment.
Our center cares for children from birth until their 21st birthday with conditions including cerebral palsy, genetic syndromes, seizure disorders, chronic lung disease, congenital heart defects, technology-dependent needs (ventilators, tracheostomies, G-tubes), and other complex medical diagnoses. Each child receives a personalized care plan developed in collaboration with their physicians and family.
Families may receive care from many pediatric providers across Broward County. With family authorization, Elite PPEC coordinates relevant care-plan information with approved providers.
