Our History
Compassionate pediatric care for South Florida families
Elite PPEC was founded with a simple but powerful belief: that children with complex medical needs deserve a place where they can receive outstanding medical care while also experiencing the joy of childhood. What began as a small center in Hollywood, Florida, has grown into a multidisciplinary prescribed pediatric extended care facility serving families across Broward County.
We serve families throughout Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Hallandale Beach, Davie, Plantation, and the greater Broward County area. Each child receives a plan shaped by their medical needs, physician orders, authorized services, and family goals.
As we have grown, we have expanded our therapy offerings, strengthened our nursing staff, upgraded our facilities, and continually invested in the latest medical equipment and therapeutic technologies. Our growth has always been guided by one principle: how can we provide even better care for the children who depend on us?

Every member of the Elite PPEC team is carefully selected for their clinical expertise, compassion, and genuine love for working with children. All staff members are thoroughly background-checked, CPR certified, and trained in pediatric emergency response.

Our clinical team includes registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) who provide continuous medical monitoring and skilled nursing care. Our therapy department features licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, board-certified behavior analysts, respiratory therapists, art therapists, and music therapists, all working collaboratively to create comprehensive, individualized care plans for every child.
Licensing & Accreditation
Elite PPEC is fully licensed by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) as a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care facility. We meet and exceed all state standards for pediatric medical daycare, including staffing ratios, facility safety, medical equipment, emergency preparedness, and infection control protocols.
Our facility undergoes regular state inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with all Florida regulations governing PPEC centers. We maintain all required documentation, staff credentials, and quality assurance measures as mandated by the state of Florida.

Transportation Support
Door-to-door transportation may be available after authorization, address, equipment, and current routes are reviewed.
Nutrition Support
Meals, snacks, and nutrition support are coordinated according to each child's prescribed diet, feeding plan, and attendance needs.
Medicaid Coverage
Eligible, authorized PPEC services may be covered by Florida Medicaid. Coverage is verified individually.
